Where the Wild Things Are

I remember when I read the book, Where The Wild Things Are, as a kid I loved it! I think I really related to the main character, Max, because I wasn't the best behaved child. My mom always told me this book reminded her of me actually because she used to say I was like a little monster. I was always so jealous because I wanted to go on fun adventures like Max did! I actually talked to some of my friends about the book recently. I asked them if they read it when they were little, and I thought it was funny, a lot of them said they didn't like it because they thought the monsters were scary! I never really understood that just because I loved this book so much, but I guess because I related to it so much thats why I liked it.
