Ramona

Today I read the book, Ramona's World by Beverly Cleary. When I was little I was a big fan of the Ramona books but this one is fairly new so I never read it. It was a fun read because in this book, Ramona is older than she was in the other ones so we kind of get to see a different side to her, even though she still has a lot of the same mischievous qualities as she did when she was younger. We are also used to seeing Ramona as the youngest in the family but now she has a baby sister so we get to see her now as an older sister. Also what I found different in this book than in the other ones, was that Ramona was easier to relate to. She is more mature now and thinks about things in a more grown up way. For example instead of just throwing a fit about something without thinking about it, she decides that a temper tantrum isn't really necessary. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I think most children would too.
